TRUCK CONTROL VALVES
Ford used three different style control valve units on their light trucks and vans.
Small passenger-car derived pickups and vans, such as the early Falcon and Fairlane based Ranchero and Falcon-based Econoline vans, used the standard Bendix-style control valve used on passenger cars. Information on these valves can be found in the standard passenger car sections.
Regular full-sized trucks and vans used either an inline-style Bendix valve or a Garrison valve. Both of these are covered below.
